Zemi Brooch

Our ZEMI brooch inspired by a Taíno Zemi. The Zemis are a representation of Taíno ancestors and forces of nature. They are a wisdom vehicle of the Taino culture and each one has its own strength and meaning. Zemis were vitally important in maintaining the proper cosmic balance between the corporeal and the spiritual.

Brooch is handmade with glass beads by Dominican artisan Ann Beato.
